Hello, I'm Meredith and I like children's TV, British stuff, and the internet. Also I'm Homestuck.

I have been known to draw / write stupid shit, mostly Vriska and Aradia because I love them. There are links to your left and below if you wish to explore.

see, but the thing is…

Everyone in this fandom needs to stop being at each other’s throats over shipping and just multiship the night away.

Because seriously. Canon means nothing. It only defines what actually happens in the comic. It doesn’t define what could happen, or what should happen. Only what does. Having a canon ship is glorious, but it’s not everything.

Don’t let not having one destroy you, and don’t hate the people who do have one.

See, here’s the deal. Vriska and Jake are my OTP since… a while now. More than the past three updates.

But if Jake ends up with Dirk, I will cry a billion happy tears and run off to draw a thousand fan arts and write so many fan fictions and it will be good.

Because really? It doesn’t even matter what’s canon and what isn’t canon.

I never even expected Vriska and Jake to have any sort of possibility of becoming canon ever. I asked for nothing, and got pages of Jake interacting with his dream girl: a Vriska lookalike.

And while I would enjoy more canon (ohdeargodpleaseyes), I am not going to hold my breath. And I am most certainly not going to complain if it doesn’t happen.

As far as I’m concerned, ships exist in a world apart from canon. A world in which everybody can love everybody and it’s non-exclusive. Vriska can be in love with Jake. Dirk can be in love with Jake. They can both have their adorable moments. They can love each other at the same time in different corners of fandom. It really doesn’t matter.
